Kromanti Experience
"Home to the legendary Queen Nanny, a national hero and symbol of resistance; Moore Town is steeped in the legacy of fierce, enduring freedom."
The Kromanti Experience is more than just a cultural tour; it is a transformative journey into the heart of Jamaica’s Indigenous legacy. Founded by Maurice Lee in 2015, the company offers an immersive exploration into the rich history of the Indigenous community, deeply rooted in the island’s fight for freedom. Located in Moore Town, Portland, one of the original Indigenous communities, this experience brings to life the story of resilient Black people who fought—and triumphed—against British colonial forces to preserve their independence and culture.
